Payment

At pickup of the customer’s items, an invoice will be calculated based on desired items to be stored and will be given to the student for review. It is expected that the student provide 1/2-full payment at the time of pickup via cash, credit or debit card.   If 1/2 is paid, the remaining balance will be due when customer’s belongings are delivered in August.

In the event that the credit card is later declined, Wildcat Summer Storage will contact the customer to rectify the issue.  If payment isn’t made Wildcat Summer Storage reserves the right to retain said customer’s items until full payment is received.  The customer understands and acknowledges that delayed payments may cause the delay of delivery as well as assessment of further fees due to rescheduling.

Balances that are unable to be collected and are not paid within the storage period may result in the holding of the customer’s items as collateral. In the case of delinquent payment, the customer’s items may be sold, donated, or otherwise disposed if the customer fails pay the balance due. The customer also acknowledges that his or her failure to be present on the scheduled delivery day and his or her subsequent failure to communicate with Wildcat Summer Storage concerning an alternate delivery arrangement constitutes abandonment of his or her stored possessions. Wildcat Summer Storage will attempt to contact the customer a minimum of four times to collect the outstanding storage fees and make arrangements to return the storage to the customer. If the customer fails to respond to Wildcat Summer Storage after four attempts and more than two weeks has passed after the customers scheduled or approximate delivery date, then Wildcat Summer Storage reserves the right to dispose of the customer’s storage as it sees fit.

Wildcat Summer Storage will not store card numbers, expiration dates or card verification numbers.

Storage

Full service storage will include pickup, storage, and delivery of the customer’s belongings to a destination within a 5 mile radius of the campus at which the items are picked up. The items will be stored at a locked climate controlled facility selected at the sole discretion of Wildcat Summer Storage.

A climate controlled storage facility is defined as a storage facility that maintains a safe temperature for the storage of your possessions and that the facility is effectively ventilated. This does not necessarily mean the storage facility is air-conditioned or heated.

The maximum storage period included in pricing for each item is four months. Should this time be exceeded, an additional charge will be applied in the amount of the current price for said item at that period of time for an additional one month storage period. Wildcat Summer Storage reserves the right to assume ownership of any abandoned items two weeks after the last delivery date of the customer’s service year in the case of summer storage.

Delivery

The customer agrees and acknowledges that a failure to be present at the time of delivery makes them subject to a $25 missed appointment fee.

Delivery of items must be within a 5 mile radius of the campus at which the items were picked up.  For deliveries outside this radius, customers will pay $2 per mile beyond the 5 mile window.

The customer agrees to be present at the specified delivery location during the selected time and date in order to receive his or her items.  Items may be left in any location that is permitted by the customer either verbally or through written correspondence. Once the items are delivered to the location permitted by the customer Wildcat Summer Storage will no longer assume liability for the well-being of the items.
